Happy January!!

Here is Sister Toomer's latest!

Can you believe that I have been out for 4 months? Seems like I just got out here, but not too. So ya, I'm famous because I was in the paper! I'm sending you more and I also sent the grandma's one as well.

The work is definitely hastening, and it's because the members here are so great and want to share the Gospel with their family and friends! It's awesome!!! We have been seeing miracles in how the members are sharing the Gospel. There was a less-active lady that knew she needed to go back to church but didn't want to go alone, so she took her non-member friend. We have been teaching the Non-member and she says that we are heaven sent because she has been looking for something more. She is going to get baptized hopefully next weekend. She used to smoke but for her new years resolution she quit and can be baptized!!!!! Her names Cynthia! 

Also, the miracle baptism with the stubborn investigator is really excited to go to the temple. She was telling us the other day that she can't wait to be sealed with her family! I love this Gospel and I love sharing it with others!!!

Thanks for all the letters and all the support you give me. I can definitely feel the prayers and love in my behalf!!! Don't forget you're a missionary too! Love you all!!!

We can't believe it's already 2014! Here's the latest from Sister Toomer!

Hey All! Love you!!! Happy 2014-- wow time is going by super duper fast! Thanks for everything I really love hearing how everything is going and I just love your stinkin guts. Training's great I got super lucky with an awesome trainee, she is getting into the groove and loves the work which always helps. 

We work really well together and this week we lead in our zone! The work really is hastening and there are more and more people ready to hear the gospel! We are teaching this little family that told one of her friends she wanted a better life and Dah dah! that's were the Gospel of Jesus Christ comes in, and that's when we come into tell them of the great news! Also we found some great people that are just ready. I love it! 

We are teaching this Lady named Cynthia that just absorbs everything we teach her and thanks us for coming into her life...it's soooo cool- I'm loving the change and the work here. It's great to be a missionary! And I'm in the East Oregonian paper! ON the front page!!! I'm famous-- well, the sister missionaries here are cuz I guess there has always been Elders and they interviewed us cuz we are different then what they had before. Also people here say that it was weird because the church does not get publicity like that in the paper. So that's kinda cool. The 2nd ward I'm over is going to send you a copy.
